The Department of the Environment and Urban Municipality of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with ECOEMBES, organized on the occasion of the celebration next June 5th World Environment Day, an exhibition of works by students from kindergarten and Primary schools in the town, made from waste reuse.

The exhibition involved Eleven schools: CEIP Cervantes, CEIP The Siphon, CEIP Our Lady of Fatima, CEIP San Antonio, CEIP San Miguel, CEIP Tierno Galván, CEIP Vega del Segura, CEIP Our Lady of Remedies, CEIP Sacred Heart, CEIP Maestro Francisco Martinez Bernal and Holy Family School.

SERCOMOSA also collaborate and ECOVIDRIO.

Free Recycle and Reuse exposure to create, is intended to assess the work done in schools in incorporating sustainability values ​​in the educational project, which are reflected in the programming and development of numerous projects of environmental issues.

It is also intended that the exhibition will serve as exchange of experiences between the centers and as a way of raising the rest of the population to develop attitudes, skills and positive critical behaviors and to the environment.

The exhibition will be open to the public in the Municipal Exhibition Hall Jail from Monday 3 to Wednesday June 5, the hours of 17.00 to 21.00.

For the centers participating in the exhibition will be other activities: through a tour of various environmental issues, it will show what should be the contribution of the public to a sustainable and equitable development through the correct separation of waste, and discover the importance of small actions and daily habits in this work.

The activities will take place on 3, 4 and 5 June, in the morning.

For the development of the same, which will take place inside the exhibition hall and the Plaza Eduardo Linares Lumeras, will take place a setting of these spaces around different environmental issues.

In each of the zones may find information panels and equipment demonstration or exhibition in the following areas: Water, Energy, Waste, Organic gardens and natural heritage.

This setting is intended to raise awareness of the impact of residues in all these areas and the benefits of the reduction and recycling in terms of saving water and energy and the conservation of natural heritage.
