The City of Molina de Segura and Ecovidrio promote glass recycling in the hospitality industry (21/05/2013)

The glass collection campaign in the hospitality sector of Molina de Segura, sponsored by the Department of the Environment and Urban local council and Ecovidrio Integrated Management System (SIG) which manages the recycling of packaging deposited glass containers throughout Spain, was presented at a press conference Tuesday May 21, in the Press Room of City Hall.

The presentation was attended by the Councillor of the Natural Environment and Urban, Juana Carrillo Muñoz, and in the Levant Area Manager Ecovidrio, Roberto Fuentes Catalan.

The purpose of the campaign is to raise glass collection in the municipality and keeping the city clean of Molina de Segura, who, along with Yecla, has been chosen to carry out the campaign.

The initiative will start during the month of May with a first phase through field work to be undertaken by the survey to all local establishments.

These surveys are intended to inform about the campaign, and identify the needs of hoteliers, in order to facilitate the recycling of glass containers.
