La Banda del IES Miguel Hernández de Orihuela (Alicante) didactic offer a concert to mark the celebration of the feast of St. Cecilia, patroness of music, on Friday, Nov. 23, at the CEIP Maestro Francisco Martinez Bernal (Calle José Antonio Serrano Vidal, No. 80, Molina de Segura).
This activity is prepared by the entire school community of the two centers and paid for by the school AMPA molinense.
The center band of Alicante was created by Professor Manuel Beltrán García music in 2004 and since then has been enriched by the activity of the young musicians of the town bigastrense.
Currently training is made up of 33 students studying from 1st to 2nd ESO Baccalaureate.
Over 10% of school pupils play an instrument.
From the beginning, the band has been supported across the cloisters of IES Miguel Hernandez and his creation, development and evolution is a task in which virtually all departments involved teaching institute, which, in one way or another, collaborate actively in this project eight years.
This is the second time that offer a concert comprising educational for children ages 3 to 11 years in the public school of Molina de Segura.
The event is organized by the music teachers of IES, Manuel Beltrán García (coordinator) and Mariano Ferriz Sanjuán (director), and the school teacher Master Francisco Bernal Martinez, Maria Jose Lopez Ghost.
Although they are the promoters of the concert, the activity has the support of the AMPA and cloisters of both public schools, led by its directors, Juan Pablo Perales Gonzalez (IES Miguel Hernandez), and Francisco Parra Pellicer (CEIP Maestro Francisco Bernal Martinez ).
The schedule of meetings is as follows:
From 09.30 to 10.00 hours: 3 to 4 years (Child).
From 10.15 to 11.00: 5 years (Child) and 6 years (1st Primary).
From 12.00 to 12.45: 2nd and 3rd Primary.
From 12.45 to 13.30: 4th, 5th and 6th of Primary.
