The preacher of the festivity of Molina de Segura Vicente Juan Dávalos 2012 will, as announced on Tuesday 17 July, the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares.

Vicente Juan Davalos, who could fairly be described as humanist, has been Mayor of Molina de Segura (1964/1967) and in 1979 founded the company with Spanish company Corrugated, SAECO, so it has won the Award Herentia Family Business in 2008 and the Business Development Award in 2009.
Between the two periods opened in Molina de Segura, in 1970, and along with Harriet Sandoval, Zen Gallery, which marched emerging authors then FCG, Manuel Coronado, Hernansáez Angel Manuel Belzunce, Joseph Lucas, José Dalmau or José María Garres.
In 2010 he received the Recognition of Cultural Dissemination Setenil, an award instituted by the Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura in 2009, in order to distinguish those individuals, groups or institutions that, over the years, have played activities to promote culture in the municipality, in all its facets.
Throughout his life, Juan Vicente Dávalos has managed to reconcile a successful business career with his interest in art, in his dual role of art dealer and painter.
The Zen Gallery marked a milestone in the cultural history of Molina de Segura.
