The Municipal School Board of Molina de Segura is the first in the region to adopt the new City Plan for Prevention and Control of Absenteeism and Dropout (06/07/2012)

The Plenum of the Municipal School Board of Molina de Segura met Friday July 6, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, chaired the Councillor for Education, Mariola Martinez Robles.

Among the various items on the agenda have been addressed and approved, include the following:

Adoption of New City Plan for Prevention and Control of Absenteeism and Dropout, previously approved by the City Commission of Truancy and Dropout, on July 4.

Molina de Segura is the first municipality to approve the Municipal Plan, based on the guidelines and guidelines of the Regional Plan for Prevention and Absenteeism, published in the BORM of June 24, 2010.

The City Commission of Truancy and Dropout, along with the Municipal School Board has been working in the town since the 90's with remarkable success, as there has been a significant reduction of 40%.

Enrolment for the course 2012/2013 in public and subsidized schools in Molina de Segura: they have enrolled a total of 732 children from three years on a range of 800 seats.

In the districts have 41 children enrolled in Early Childhood Education 3 years.

The three non-school days approved by the School Board, and to be proposed to the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment for the next school year 2012/2013 are on 2, 3 and 4 April 2013.

Also be asked to consider school not on April 5, 2013, compensation with the day March 25, 2013, so the Easter holidays would begin on March 26, 2013, and incorporated into class on 8 April 2013.

Student participation in training activities of the municipality:

Education Course Road Molina de Segura 2011/2012, organized by the departments of Public Safety and Education: enrolled a total of 3,065 students from 23 schools in the locality.

Campaign grows in Security for schoolchildren, and promoted by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment in the Region of Murcia, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, in collaboration with the city of Molina de Segura: involving a total of 718 pupils from 19 schools in the municipality.

Act of farewell to council members Fenoll José López and Andrés López Puche for retirement in their teaching.
