Conciliation Service 2012 Summer Education Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura began on Monday paid on July 2 and will run until August 31.
A total of 350 children benefit from this service, aimed at families with minor children, aged between 3 and 12 years (students enrolled in the municipality, in the 2nd Cycle and Early Childhood Education Primary School during the school year 2011/2012), at a time from 07.30 to 15.00 hours at the following locations: CEIP Our Lady of Consolation, CEIP San Miguel, CEIP Nuestra Señora de los Remedios (in the hamlet of The Hightower) and Social Center in the hamlet of The Brave.
The initiative is based on the use of leisure time as an educational resource, under a proposed recreational activities and participatory character and a space for parents who do work or training activity, and where the child is an active, developing their creativity and socialization.
Councillor for Equality, Reme Lopez Paredes, stressed that "this council is intended to broaden and strengthen community social services aimed at meeting the personal needs, family and enable the work of women and men, which is one of the areas of special importance under the Fourth Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities of Molina de Segura ".
"The social changes experienced by the municipality make us think about a complex and difficult problems which must be addressed, with the need to foster care services to people. At present there are a variety of family models largely conditioned by the participation of women in the labor market and the changing cultural and social behaviors, constituting a plurality of scenarios that working women and men must face and try to adapt their daily lives, "said the Councillor.
