718 students have participated in the campaign GROWS IN SAFETY in Molina de Segura (06/06/2012)

The award ceremony of the campaign GROWS IN SAFETY, for schoolchildren, and promoted by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment in the Region of Murcia, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, in collaboration with the City of Molina de Segura, took place on Wednesday 6 June in the Meeting Room of City Hall.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Director, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, Tomas Perez Fuentes, the Councillor for Education, Mariola Martinez Robles, and the Director and Coordinator of the campaign and Technical SICO Company and Safety Engineering (responsible for the development of the campaign), Juan Carlos Conesa Simon.

A total of 718 pupils from 19 schools have participated in the campaign, through which the participating administrations claim that children between 5 ° of primary education are aware that their actions every day, at school, at home and in moving from home to school are subject to risks that can affect their physical and, to avoid them, you need to know and take the necessary preventive measures.

Through lectures lasting 60 minutes, taught by business professionals Sico Engineering and Safety, informed them of these matters, with particular emphasis on the right of everyone to be informed about the risks of the activities carried out and the necessary preventive measures to avoid bearing the risk in disaster.

The aim of the campaign is to create in children the habit and to accompany them throughout their lives, both short and long term.

And so, when they enter the labor market as workers or entrepreneurs, is fulfilled in them naturally the obligations stipulated in the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks, consisting know the risks and preventive measures of an activity, prior to its implementation and to inform and train workers on these points.
