The official reception by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the choirs of exchange with the IES Cañada de las Eras de Molina de Segura, in the gathering of choirs MAPLE program, took place on Tuesday April 24, in the Meeting Room of City Hall.
The MAPLE program is subsidized by the Ministry of Education to promote clusters among Spanish schools.
Bilingual Choir The choir of the IES of Ages Canada was part of a cluster of school choirs started by a center of Navarre in 2009 and ended at the end of last year.
As the Ministry granted extensions for two years, and based center was not interested in continuing, the center molinense decided to take the coordination of the group and apply for an extension with the choir and participated Goat and a chorus of Valladolid interested in thereof.
It gathers guys / as 12 to 19 years and takes place from 23 to 27 April, with accommodation in student houses molinenses.
In February 2013 the meeting will be held in Cabra, and in May 2013, in Valladolid.
The contestants in the exchange are:
Chorus Dionisio Alcalá Galiano, the IES of the same name, of Cabra (Córdoba).
Chorus Vicente Herrero, IES Galileo, Valladolid.
Bilingual Choir, the IES Cañada de las Eras (Molina de Segura).
All three choirs will give a concert on Thursday 26 April at 21.00 am in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Molina de Segura.
