The award ceremony of the XVII Literary Contest March 8, organized by the Department of Equality of the city of Molina de Segura, took place on Monday 23 April, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.

Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Equality, Reme Lopez Paredes.

This year there were 72 participants, 33 in the category of poetry and 39 short stories from different municipalities in Murcia: Molina de Segura, Murcia, Guadalupe, Las Torres de Cotillas, Alhama de Murcia, Beniel, Ceuta, Alguazas, Cartagena and La Alberca.

The awards listed for each of the categories are as follows: 1 st prize, 360 euro, 2nd prize, $ 300, and 3 rd prize, 220 euro.

In each category are given two runners.

And the awardees were:

SHORT STORY

1 st Prize: Menu for two, Adelaide Romero Rodriguez.

2nd Prize: The Mexican Amoros Laura Collado.

3rd Prize: The goal of Maria de la O Sanchez Guillen.

1 ° Second prize: Broken Dreams, Concepcion Andres Ortega.

2 ° Second prize: The Last Walk, Mary Shipyards Tena.

POETRY

1 st Prize: You are the past, Teresa Hernandez Martinez.

2nd Prize: Part of War of Tornel Elizabeth Nicholas.

3rd Prize: After all absence, Faustina Hernandez Bermejo.

1 ° Second prize: Lament for a poet, Rosario Martinez Monino.

2 ° Second prize: Verses on my grandfather, Abbey Lucia Jimenez.
