The jury of the Prize II Doctor Francisco Guirado 2012, organized by the city of Molina de Segura, has agreed to award the prize to Antonia Fernandez Guillart, in singles, and AFESMO association, collective category.
The award was presented by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, during the ceremony held on Thursday 19 April, in the tent at the Health Fair at Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Dental hygienist, Antonia Fernandez Guillart worked for 16 years at the Health Center Professor Jesús Marín López Molina de Segura.
Has excelled in his work by implementing health promotion activities and prevention in oral health / dental, groups of pregnant women, school children between 5 and 11 years, immigrant groups and groups of parents of children 0 to 3 who attend day care centers.
For these activities has diverse educational material, and sometimes, the place outside working hours, especially with immigrant groups or with groups of parents of children 0 to 3 years.
Meanwhile, the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill of Molina de Segura (AFESMO) was founded in 1997 by the urgent and sincere interest of a group of families, professionals and people with mental illness, sensitized to the needs the group, decided to unite to defend the rights of persons with mental illness in their social environment and individual attention claim model which improves the quality of life of these people.
In this partnership work 35 professionals: psychologists, social workers, social workers, psychiatrist, a lawyer, studio monitors, nurses / as, caregivers, administrative, cleaners and drivers.
