Molina de Segura closed the spectacular Holy Week procession on Easter Sunday (04/04/2012)

The meeting of the Risen Christ, St. John, Virgin of the Victory will be held on 09.30 am, at Plaza Pio XII

The Easter Procession, organized by the Illustrious, and Most Ancient Venerable Confraternity of Our Lady of the Rosary and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, will take place on Sunday April 8, from 08:30 hours.

Participate in the procession of images: Archangel San Miguel, Ramon Marco Holy Cross Triumphant, risen Christ, Jesus' appearance to Mary Magdalene, and St. John the Evangelist (this picture stars in this year's official poster for the Easter molinense) Vazquez all Juncal, and the Virgin of the Victory, of Clement Cantos.

About 09.30 am, at Plaza Pio XII, there is the emotional meeting of the Risen Christ and the Virgin of Victory.

The Brotherhood of the Resurrection, located in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is composed of over 400 penitents who march in white robes and headdresses of different color according to the Brotherhood in question.

The Sunday procession with another attraction, as the seven children of the parishes that parade with vestments similar to those you saw St. Vincent Martyr, patron of the city, who are popularly known as the sanvicentiquios.

The Mayor, Eduardo Contreras Linares, will chair the procession, as the Municipal Corporation of the City molinense was recognized for years as Honorary Big Sister.

The parade will start from the headquarters of the Brotherhood, in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Risen Christ will go Saavedra Fajardo Street and Great Road, until you reach Plaza Pio XII, where the meeting will occur.

At the same place come the image of the Virgin de la Victoria, which will come along Calle Juan de Austria.

Both images will continue the march through Calvary Street, New Street, High Street, Street Culture, Paseo Rosales, Station Street, Calle Menendez Pelayo, Gran Via, Calle San Esteban, ending again in the Church of the Sacred Heart.

This procession is put an end to the Easter of Molina de Segura.
