The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows takes to the streets of Molina de Segura the Silent Procession on Maundy Thursday (03/04/2012)

The images of the Holy Christ of Sorrows, the Sorrowful and the Fall of Jesus of Nazareth parade from 21.00 hours

The hamlet of the Brave also held for the second year, the Procession of Silence, from 23.00 hours

The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows Molina de Segura, organizes, for the twenty-seventh consecutive year, the Procession of Silence, which shows its beautiful sacred images, Maundy Thursday April 5, at 21.00.

The procession starts at the Ermita de San Roque, with images of: the Fall of Jesus of Nazareth, handmade by imaging Salmeron Socuéllamos (Ciudad Real), which represents one of the falls of Jesus on the road to Calvary, the Dolorosa, the sculptor Gil molinense Barnabas, and the Holy Christ of Sorrows, head of the Brotherhood and also the work of Barnabas Gil.

All this amid a strict order and a moving silently in the dark of night molinense, only punctuated by the sound of arrows at various points along the way.

The procession will run along Main Street, Station Street, Paseo Rosales, Street Culture, Pensioner Street, Plaza of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Consolation Street, Plaza Immaculate Sepulchre Street, Main Street, ending back in the Ermita de San Roque, where the image of the Fall and the Painful receive the head of the Brotherhood.

When the Christ of Sorrows reach the Plaza de la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the temple's main gate will open, pray one Our Father and sing an arrow.

The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows is located in the Chapel of San Roque and was the first in the Easter procesionar molinense after the restoration of this in 1986, why brotherhood known as the mother.

It consists of about 400 brothers, robed in purple and black.

It was founded in 1945 by the Brotherhood of Farmers of Molina de Segura.
