The official ceremony of transfer of title of Favourite Daughter of Molina de Segura Consuelo Garcia Perez will be held on Tuesday 3 April at 19.30 am in the Plenary Hall of the city of Molina de Segura.
The event will be chaired by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and attended by other members of the Municipal Corporation.
On October 31, 2011, the Municipal Council of the City of Molina de Segura unanimously agreed to appoint Favorite Daughter of the municipality to Consuelo Garcia Perez, "in recognition of his life story as an example of efforts to improve the situation of women the municipality. "
Consuelo Garcia Perez Molina de Segura was born in the March 15, 1927, and his life can be an example of selflessness, sacrifice and effort that marked several generations of molinenses born in the first quarter of the twentieth century.

With almost fifty years paved the way for formal education to which access had failed before because of personal and social circumstances, and studied Clinical Assistant.
This woman, brave and determined, even undertake the path of another mode of formation, in this case career: music.
A passion that had always accompanied him and that he could not devote the necessary time.
Began in the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, preparing the songs in the mass of children.
He hymn courses and teacher Jaime Lopez received lessons in music theory, and joined the chorus of Pensioner Household.
Consuelo Garcia Perez is the voice of religious services in the Church of the Assumption for many years and even today.
An activity for which he has earned with his personal career, love and respect for all molinenses.
Several years ago, women's associations in the municipality was awarded a distinction for a lifetime dedicated to training and improving the living conditions of women in the municipality.
Now, the municipal institution publicly recognized this molinense whose life is an example for generations to come and talk about women's personal effort of Molina de Segura.
