Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf de Molina begins Sunday (30/03/2012)

All activities organized by the Department of Tourism will be held the first Sunday of each month and the days requested by the groups of visitors

The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura continues in 2012 with the Programme of Activities in the Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf de Molina, aimed at visitors and the public family, in order to disclose more the municipality.

With this program, visitors to the center will learn the ways of life and traditional customs that shape the recent past history of the Campo de Molina, all through workshops and proposals attractive to participants.

The recovery of traditions such as making clay pieces and holiday items are some of the activities that will transport visitors to a traditional Molina de Segura ancestral rites and customs.

All this enclosed in a landscape of contrasts where, for centuries, man and nature have coexisted in perfect harmony.

Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf de Molina is located in Old Unity School of the hamlet of La Albarda and was opened in December 2007.

Open from Monday to Thursday for organized groups (schools, associations, cultural centers, etc.., The municipality and the region), and the first Sunday of the month, for the general population, at a time of 11.30 to 13.30 .

Schedule of activities from April to December 2012

Events take place from 11.30 to 13.30, and are aimed at all audiences.

Sunday April 1: Workshop of the Potter.

The visitor will delve into the exciting world of pottery and produce their own pieces of clay.

Sunday May 6: Workshop on traditions and customs.

Through this activity, you will discover the ancient way of life in the field and orchard, the costumes of the past or tradition already lost, as the pall or desperfollo of pussy.

Sunday 7 October: Workshop on Medicinal Plants.

The plants collected in the environment will help them discover their characteristics and uses in local medicine, and develop their own book of botany.

Sunday November 4: Drawing and painting workshop for children.

Sunday 2 December: Workshop for children of Bethlehem.

The First Floor includes the recreation of an old school classroom unit that reflects the educational process conducted in rural areas.

It is also ready and equipped so that it can be used as a space for various activities: workshops, screenings, meetings, etc..
