The Via Crucis procession, organized by the City Council of Guilds Pasionarias Superior, will be held at 22.00
The Penitential procession with the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, organized by the City Council of Guilds Higher Pasionarias of Molina de Segura, will take place on Friday March 30, at 2200 hours, coinciding with the celebration of Good Friday.
The procession will depart from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Molina de Segura and through the streets of Old City (Pensioner, Benavente, Plaza de Cristo Rey, San Vicente, Mella, and Cid Juan Sandoval), ending back at the Plaza of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption.
The Penitential Procession in the Cross, was recovered eleven years ago, after nearly forty years of absence and the full restoration of the image, which will be carried by representatives of the four fraternities that make up the Cabildo (Brotherhood of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Sorrows, Brotherhood of the Holy Burial and Confraternity of Our Lady of the Rosary and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ).
The procession will be accompanied by the sound of drums from the band's Friday and the lighting of the candles carried by the persons accompanying the procession.
The Nazareno de Molina will wear his old coat, restored five years ago by the Superior City Council of Guilds, and will be carried by a throne made of alpaca silver.
Moreover, after the Penitential procession with the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, will be the procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows at 23.00, to be transferred from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption to the Ermita de San Roque.
The procession is organized by the Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Sorrows.
