Cultural Association La Cruz de La Molina de Segura Torrealta organizes an extensive program of activities around the staging of the Living Stations of the Cross on Holy Wednesday April 4 (20/03/2012)

Leisure, the craft market Souk Guadalabiad and I Torrealta Road are some of the highlights of this year

Cross Cultural Association of The Hightower, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, organizes once again representing the Living Stations of the Cross, to be held on Holy Wednesday April 4, from the 23.00 pm in the Plaza de la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios and the streets of the hamlet of Torrealta de Molina.

New this year has developed a program of activities to be developed around the staging of the Cross.

Passionate representation of Christ on Calvary road is made on the night of Holy Wednesday for the fifteenth time.

Fifty Torrealta neighbors go out dressed in period costumes to relive the fifteen stations that Jesus Christ had to travel from his condemnation to death and his resurrection.

During assembly of the Cross of Torrealta highlights the inclusion of a fifteenth season, which is the Resurrection of Christ, by the presence of antorcheros, that illuminate the streets of the hamlet along the planned route, which includes the following channels: Church Square and streets Azagra Bishop Javier, Salvador Blanquer, Antonio Machado, La Mola, Bishop Javier Azagra, Alfred Nobel, Manuel de Falla, Garcia Lorca and San Francisco, Plaza de la Cruz, Isaac Albéniz and streets and San Juan de Dios.

At 20.00 pm in the Church, Proclamation of the Cross, by the Project Director of Man, Jesus Hernandez.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 4

From 12.00 to 21.00, Calle Obispo Javier Azagra, special edition of the craft market Guadalabiad Souk.
