The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, program development Molina for Equality, and in commemoration of March 8, United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace, has organized an extensive program of activities to be carried out between March and May 2012.

The activity program is twofold.

The main one is that women participate and show the work in the various fields of social and cultural life.

Therefore, it is a very complete and varied, with activities taking place during the month of March at the Mall Plaza Vega Molina de Segura, workshops and exhibitions of the activities of women's associations throughout the year .

A second objective is to conduct activities that affect the achievement of the objectives of the Fourth Plan for Equality of the Department.

As pointed out by the councilor, "the ongoing work to ensure that women of our town forward and be partakers of the achievements, big or small, on the road to true equality, represents a significant factor in organizing these activities."

In the second block of activities include: training workshops, plays, special program on Radio Company (to be published on Friday 9 March, from 13.00 to 14.00, on the frequency 98.8 FM), film session, the Stories concert singing folk tales, the storyteller by Pepa Robles (Friday 30 March at 20.00 pm in the Center Las Balsas), the X meeting / coexistence of the 26 women's centers in the municipality (the Thursday 8 March at the Boulevard of the furnaces, in the Barrio de San Roque), the award of Painting Contest XIII (Thursday 15 March at 18.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall Jail) the awards ceremony of the XVII Literary Competition for Poetry and Short Story (Monday 23 April at 20.00 am in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall), and an exhibition of 905 drawings with the vision of children in the municipality on equality and gender violence.

Finally, Councillor for Equality calls "to involve all groups of the municipality and development culminating in a successful program."
