The CONCERT OF CHARLES Piñana (Murcia), which presents his album Handsfree, will take place on Friday 2 March at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The ticket price is 10 euros.
The educational and artistic journey Piñana Carlos Conesa (Cartagena, 1976) clearly illustrates the hybrid musical profile of the new generation of flamenco artists.
In 1990 he started studying classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, entering parallel in the intricacies of flamenco guitar, which soon begins to stand out.
Proof of this are the numerous awards in his career.
By way of example that achieved in 1996, obtaining the First Prize and Bordon Minero at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas, in 1998 the National Prize Concert Guitar Ramon Montoya Flamenco Art Contest in Córdoba and the First Prize Sabicas in the National Youth Festival Flamenco Calasparra, supplemented by 98 Important Prize, awarded by the newspaper La Opinión de Murcia.
In 2001, the Foundation granted Emma Egea Shine Award 2001 in recognition of his vocation and work.
Is graduate degrees in Music (Grade) by the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and MA in music research at the University of Murcia.
Carlos Piñana articulates the lyricism and modulations that define their own style and make it different and personal.
A style, his, between flamenco and classical guitar, but not any classical guitar.
As a restless young musician open to the sounds of the era he lives, has the profile of a composer of contemporary guitar.
Moving music, flamenco and contemporary guitar, merge naturally in their sensitivity, to express a style, that of Charles Piñana.
