The City of Molina de Segura and Batuta Virginia Association announce the Young Performers Competition III Villa de Molina 2012 (13/01/2012)

The Young Performers Competition III Villa de Molina 2012, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Molina de Segura, Virginia Association Batuta, the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez, the Chamber Orchestra of Hims Mola, the Association for Music Molina de Segura, the Polyphonic Choir and Mola Hims Municipal Association Band of Molina de Segura, was unveiled at a press conference on Friday January 13th by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and Artistic Director contest, Virginia Martinez Fernandez.

The contest has been called in the categories of piano, strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), brass (trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba) and woodwind (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and saxophone).

Participants may compete in one of the modes in the following: primary, vocational and higher.

The age limit was set in 1987 or later to born, resident or pursue their musical studies (in the manner described) in the Region of Murcia.

Works should be read with accompaniment, if required, and must provide his / her companion (no age limit).

They will perform two works published free choice and different styles.

The duration of each of the works shall not exceed 15 minutes.

Entries will be delivered from 16 January to 24 February 2012 at the Registry of Professional Music Teacher Jaime Lopez, located at Calle Capitán Cortés, s / n, on weekdays from 10.30 to 14.00 hours, or by certified mail .

The registration fee is 25 euros.

On February 27 will be published provisional lists of participants and the March 1 final list of participants and schedule.

The competition consists of two phases: Pre, in which the contestants will perform a free book a maximum of 15 minutes, and Final, which will be performed in the second work chosen, with the same length as the first.

The order of the participants will be organized alphabetically by last name and that order will be established by drawing lots.

Orchestra Director molinense Virginia Martínez Fernández is the Artistic Director of the contest, and the President of the Jury shall be the Director of the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López, José Antonio García Ramón.

The jury's decision will be announced at the Gala of Young Musicians Competition III on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina.

The awards per category (piano, string, woodwind and brass) and educational level (elementary, vocational and higher) are as follows:

Elemental: first prize, $ 300.

Professional: First prize Course 1 °, 2 ° and 3 °, 500 euros, and first prize Course 4 °, 5 ° and 6 °, 500.

Top: first prize, 700 euro.

Special Award to Virginia Martínez Fernández-born performers Molina de Segura, 300.

Diploma to all non-winning finalists.

The respective winners of first prizes in the different types and levels of education will have the opportunity to participate in concerts in the following orchestras:

Elementary Teachings: Concert with the Chamber Orchestra of Hims City Mola Molina de Segura and / or the Banda Municipal de Música de Molina de Segura.

Professional Training: series of concerts at the Conservatory of the Region of Murcia (winner of the category corresponding to levels 1, 2 and 3 °).

Professional Training: concert in Castilla La Mancha (winner of the category corresponding to levels 4, 5 and 6 °).

Higher Education: Concert in Italy, organized by the Pro Musica de Molina de Segura.
