The jury of the Prix VIII Setenil Best Story Book Published in 2011 Spain has announced the ten finalists titles, whose decision will be announced on October.
This year the award has maintained the high participation of previous years, recording a total of 64 texts sent.
The jury is chaired, on this occasion by the writer Fernando Iwasaki, and will be part writer, teacher and critic Antonio Parra Sanz, and writer and journalist Gontzal Díez.
The award ceremony, assisted the winner and the jury will take place on December 13 in Molina de Segura.
The list of finalists includes the following titles:

"Russian Tales" by Francesc Seres (Mondadori)
Setenil Award for Best Story Book Published in Spain, organized by the Culture Council of the City of Molina de Segura and endowed with 12,000 euros, has grown into a national reference in the genre of story.
Have obtained in previous editions: "The Blind Sunflowers", by Alberto Méndez (Anagram), "Life in white," Juan Pedro Aparicio (Menoscuarto); "poor relative of the devil", by Cristina Fernández Cubas (Tusquets) "If you eat a lemon without making faces," Sergi Pamies (Anagram), "The mark of Crete," Oscar Esquivias (Ediciones del Viento), "Tobacconists Chiado," Fernando Clemot (Parallel South) and " The habits of chance ", by Francisco Lopez Serrano (Renaissance).
