The Municipal UPyD in Molina de Segura today voted against the motion proposed by the PP government team on dedications and fees to the council.
A spokeswoman for the political formation, Encarna Hernandez, expressed in the plenary session this morning, his opposition to a proposed dedications and wages will give rise to a corporation composed of "council of first, second and third category" with salaries "of excellence" for the exclusive dedication of popular government team totally unrelated "to the disastrous economic reality that we live."
In the negotiations preceding the plenary UPyD requested so unsuccessful, a reduction of at least 10 percent of earnings for full-time, which, according to the spokesman, "the PP has not even come to ask."
UPyD considered essential that at least one of the councilors of the opposition minority parties could benefit from a part-time "worthy."
However, while the council of government have maintained their status, the opposition is a limitation of resources in a new municipal map, as Hernandez recalled, "is that citizens have chosen at the polls."
UPyD spokeswoman said, in this sense, his political education at the next plenary will present a motion on Transparency and austerity, which shall, inter alia, established scales with maximum salaries for mayors and councilors in terms population size of each municipality, for the salaries of public officials, the spokesman pointed out "no longer a blank check in the hands of mayors."
In turn, the Popular Party urged to publish the salaries of all municipal councilors in the Web in an accessible and understandable form so they can be accessed by all citizens.
