The Department of Consumer Affairs, through the OMIC, is issuing this press release, to bring consumer awareness of Molina de Segura, the Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery "Xanema", residing at Calle Manuel Machado 59, Highway Chorrico de Molina de Segura, has closed unexpectedly facilities with consequent damage that is causing them to different users.
The fact is that twenty people affected by this closure have come this week at the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC) of the Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Molina de Segura, to report that that has resulted in closing their treatments (for now the vast majority of hair removal) have failed to perform and that the company concerned has been paid for in advance, in many cases by credits related to financial.
At the same time have received approximately 20 calls from as many concerned to learn about the situation of that clinic, in Molina de Segura as in other populations.
The actions that are being developed from the Municipal Services Consumer is alert, through this communication, all those people who are treated with the above clinic to be aware of the closure well before the event you have agreed.
On the other hand, we find it impossible to deal with complaints, as a single enterprise, as is the case, is beyond the powers of the OMIC, but it can help formalize written off the financial relationship where there is agreement credit, and request the annulment of the same, according to Law 7 / 1995 of March 23, Consumer Credit, which in Chapter II, Article 14.

Furthermore, since the Consumer municipal services are being contacted those affected so they can act together, more effectively, to protect their economic interests.
Accordingly, we request that all concerned are advised to contact the OMIC of the Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Molina de Segura, in order to develop appropriate actions.
