In calcareous and rocky soils of this farm is planted 16 varieties of cherry grafted on peach with almond hybrid GF677, with Adara intermediary.

These varieties are not symptoms of incompatibility has been observed during the three years of planting.

The culture is done with drip fertigation and quilted black fabric, which, as explained García Lidón, "allows the grass to fight weeds and save water for irrigation."

This culture is under the technical supervision of Asaja, who have contributed to the project data on the performance of different varieties.

The responsible regional noted that most of the varieties chosen "can be adapted to mild winter conditions in the area, with the consequent advance in the market."
