The Creative Space Project Lumera Eduardo Linares 2011, sponsored by the IES Eduardo Linares Lumer and supported by the city of Molina de Segura, has been presented at a press conference today, Thursday 17 March, by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares , and Site Director, Amparo Martínez Aloy.
It is a cultural project related to the Visual and Performing Arts which aims to offer citizens of Molina de Segura the possibility of sharing space and creative workshops with the students themselves calling the Bachelor of Arts.
It is a project which aims to, over time, different artists active in regional and national scene will offer their wisdom to those attending the workshops.
Creative Space Eduardo Linares Lumera is open to students at the school and the rest of citizens 17 or older.
Registration hours are from 09.00 to 13.00 pm in the school itself or through telephone numbers 968 33 670 64 08 29 22 80.
All workshops will be held in the center in the afternoon.
The advance scheduling for 2011 is as follows:
3, 4, 5 and 6 May: Nature, taught by Christopher Perez Tovar.
20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 June: From realism to abstract, taught by Allan Madsen.
4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 July: Memo Book, given by José Manuel Peñalver.
This creative space was first developed in 2010, with very good reception among the adult population of Molina de Segura, who participated in the workshops: Watercolor and other etching techniques and water to sugar, given by Pepe Yagües, acrylics and landscape started with acrylics, taught by José Manuel Peñalver, Artistic Anatomy Course, taught by John Espallardo, Creative Dance Workshop, taught by Marisa Brugarolas and Dramatic Body Language Course, taught by Jessica Walker.
