The session will provide to schools and AMPAS grants worth 82,400 euros
The signing of agreements for the implementation of Extracurricular Training Activities during the academic year 2009/2010, signed between the city of Molina de Segura and the Associations of Parents of Students of 19 schools and Primary Education in the town publicly funded, was held Wednesday January 13 at the Plenary Hall of the municipality.
The signing was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor of Education, Mariola Martinez Robles, and the Presidents of the Associations of Parents of Students of the following locations: CC Sagrada Familia, CPN ª S ª the Consolation, CP Tierno Galvan, CP Cervantes, CC Vicente Medina, CP San Miguel, CP San Antonio, CP Romeral, CP Siphon, CPC N ª S ª de Fátima, CP Gregorio Miñano, DC The workshop, CC Los Olivos, CP La Purisima , CP Maestro Francisco Martínez Bernal, CEI Paseo Rosales, CP N ª.
S ª de los Remedios, CP Vega del Segura, and CRA Campo de Molina.
The City of Molina de Segura subsidizes such activities since 2003/2004.
In the present academic year 2009/2010, the agreements have been signed with 19 schools in Molina de Segura (15 public and 4 agreed).
The number of students in these centers is part of 1,425, a total of 103 workshops / activities.
The economic contribution made by the City Council this year is 82,400 euros.
For its part, the associations of parents of students undertake to coordinate project activities that develop school training centers and to recruit qualified personnel to perform them.
Apart from the activities supported by the City Council through the AMPAS, the session also directly organizes sports activities in 32 schools, involving 351 students, and the municipal contribution amounts to 45,265 euros.
Therefore, the total investment in these activities amount 127,665 euros.
