The company Nacho Vilar Productions (Murcia) presents the play Don Quixote, Alcoholics Anonymous and other on Saturday 12 March at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 10).
The ticket price is 9 euros.
The play is directed by Enrique Martinez, Juan Pedro Romero and Anthony Valen, who already starring and directed the show for a decade.
Together they represent a version of Don Quixote in which the knight and squire coexist perfectly with characters such as Mickey Mouse or the magician Merlin.
But the conflicts and the old ghosts that evokes the great work of Cervantes on the actors improvised.
The book focuses its attention on a group of alcoholics who, supported by the director of rehab in which they were placed (himself a former alcoholic and failed stage director), will experience firsthand the therapeutic effects of the theater.
The title is a good example of the creation of Boleslav Polivka, author underrepresented in Spain, which combines humor with deep sweeping reflections on the human condition.
Along with Martinez, Romera and Valen, complete the cast Sergio Alarcon, who also participated in the original assembly, released in 1996 and represented most recently in 2000.
