The Mayor of the town and the Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia have opened new facilities on Wednesday March 2
They also visited the construction of the new stormwater collector of the Santa Rita and renovated Early Care Center Castle Hill
The visit to the completion of the works of spillway collector envelope improved sanitation services of the Santa Rita and works to improve the Early Childhood Center Barrio del Castillo de Molina de Segura, and the inauguration of the refurbishment of premises for the Department of Social Welfare in Barrio Punta del Lugar, all of them for the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability, took place on Wednesday 2 March.
Attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Delegate of the Government in the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, accompanied by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina Lopez, Councilman Public Roads Parks and Gardens, Vicente Fernandez Oliva.
First, the authorities have visited the new sewer overflow in improving sanitation services of the Santa Rita.
The work has been performed by Company ARPO Constructure, SA for an amount of 700,184.66 euros, and have involved the installation of a collector of rainwater harvesting 1.50 meters in diameter that alleviates direct stormwater flows to the River Safe from the Avenida de la Industria.
This improves the collection of rainwater from the area and avoids the problems caused to the Barrio de Santa Rita, as a result of the accumulation of water from the road and Station Street area and Calle Ebro
Then the Mayor and Deputy Government have visited the works to improve Early Childhood Center Barrio del Castillo de Molina de Segura, located on Calle San Vicente Ferrer, s / n.
This project has been executed by the company Lotus Somno, SL, for an amount of 75,038.83 euros, and has consisted in adapting to current needs of the community center building in this neighborhood, where the Association for the Treatment of Paralysis Cerebral and Allied Disorders (ASTRAPACE) carried out their work with about 45 children between 0 and 4 years old at the Early Childhood Center, under an agreement with the city of Molina de Segura.
Has installed an elevator to improve accessibility from the ground floor to the first floor, and created a new classroom.
Also, the toilets on the first floor have been refurbished and adapted for the disabled.
Finally, the Mayor and Deputy Government attended the opening ceremony of the new facility dedicated to the Social Welfare Department in Punta del Barrio Place, located at Calle Sierra Espuña, No. 5, after the Civil Guard barracks .
The refurbishment works have been made by the company Feels SA, amounting to 232,376.34 euros, and has involved the demolition of interior partitions and closing of two existing low, forming a single site, of 321 m2, distributed in different agencies for the provision, in the future, services of the Department of Social Welfare.
These services are: Family Program, with special attention to families in special situations Social Support Program, and Disability Program.
The restaurant also has an administrative assistant and a concierge.
The rest of the actions undertaken by this council will continue to be provided at the headquarters of the same, the Comprehensive Center Ceramics (at Avenida de Madrid, No. 68).
