The presentation of three projects I + D + i that the Public Transport Authority of the Region of Murcia has implemented in Molina de Segura to improve the quality of public transport service was held Saturday February 19 at the bus stop located on Main Street next to the Plaza de la Constitution.

These projects include the services Time: Bus, SMS: Bidi bus: bus, information systems, which allow to know the exact arrival time of the bus in real time, via mobile phone or voice systems installed on some new stops ecological solar panels fitted to function.

As explained José Ballesta, "the new SMS devices: Bus and Bidi: Bus are installed at all stops of the municipality, 238, and will benefit 1.7 million users per year, which will see increased service reliability and reduce their waiting times at the bus stop. "

Ecological Stops

The project Time: Bus provides access to information on public transport services through free messages via bluetooth or through the installation of software that lets you embed a panel simulator stop information directly on your mobile phone.

With just approaching the stop, any user with a mobile phone with Bluetooth technology can meet in real time, line number, the exact arrival time of the vehicle nearest or any impact on the service, including information interest.

In later phases, the project will be extended to other areas of the municipality.
