Molina de Segura participates in the twentieth edition of TURISMUR 2011, National Chamber of Tourism and Leisure, with a stand of 50 square meters, designed with pictures of sights in this town, located in Hall B of the Palace of Congresses and Exhibition IFEPA (Torre Pacheco).
Under the theme Cultural City Molina / Molina Rural Natural, state tourism products that give identity to the municipality.
The Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, Councillor of Tourism, Sonia Carrillo Marble, and the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Mariola Martinez Robles, will attend the official inauguration of the fair, which will take place on Friday 18 February to 17.30.
TURISMUR be held from 18 to 20 February from 10.30 to 20.30.
The activities planned are:
Dissemination of tourist material: street houses brochures, tours, etc..
Plasma screen video projection of future Museum of the Enclave of the Wall (MUDEM), photos of Molina de Segura and virtual paths.
Competition for the visitors with raffle prizes: 8 tickets for the Teatro Villa de Molina, 4 Dinner Theatre, Restaurant donated by Julian and Don Giovanni, Introduction to Golf Course for 10 people, donated by the Golf Altorreal; and assignment of a weekend at the Lodge The Landing, by the management company Ocionalia.
As explained by the Councillor for Tourism, Sonia Carrillo, "will give special promotion to the Museum of the Enclave of the Wall, with the screening of videos on it. Molinense The proposal articulated in a large square of major cultural facilities such as the Conservatory Music Molina de Segura (in operation), the Historical Archive, an exhibition hall, an auditorium with 200 seats and the new Museum of the Enclave of the Wall (MUDEM) come into operation during this year. The MUDEM is the core element of the complex and is designed in such a way that will surround the area of the medieval walls of Molina de Segura, a 125 meter structure found in 2005 that still retains six of its towers and a double elbow door great archaeological interest.
Another cornerstone of the leisure facilities of the municipality is the programming of the Teatro Villa de Molina and organization of the International Theatre Festival Molina de Segura, which this year celebrates 42 years.
