Come and Calla Productions, SL (Madrid) presents the show Frankenstein on Saturday 30 October at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (Avenida de Madrid, No. 10).
The ticket price is 15 euros.
Frankenstein is an experiment in key romantic epic about the limits of human nature, the desire for freedom of man and his secret desire to emulate the gods and penetrate the unfathomable mysteries of life and death.
Dramatic materials are taken from both the original novel by Mary Shelley as the various versions of the novel plays performed between 1823 and 1929, shortly before the shooting of the legendary James Whale movie.
A Modern Prometheus, the young doctor Victor Frankenstein, want to cross the boundaries, fight with divinity and nature, the power over life and death, decides to give life to inanimate matter, and as God or the gods, creating his own man .
The experiment led to the creation of a creature at once wondrous and repulsive, a being of a horrible ugliness and an extraordinary force of breathtaking natural intelligence and a presence almost unbearable for the other humans.
The assembly is stepping Mary Shelley's novel, including those areas less publicized, as the awakening of the great intelligence of the creature, his bitter reflections, desperation and philosophical life of Dr. Frankenstein, and a mirror in which it is for the ambitious marine scientist, Captain Walton.
Come and Calla was born in 2005, created by young professionals from the theater of Madrid, with extensive experience in private and public productions.
