Molinense teachers sing and play with Austrian children
Last week, 13 to October 17, teachers of COP San Antonio de Molina de Segura, participated in the Comenius project meeting in Vienna (Austria) in August Zeltgasse OVS school.
The project "Songs and games of our land" is coordinated by the public school molinense, and brings together primary schools in Austria, Spain and England.
Murcia teachers brought to that meeting the educational exploitation of the song "Don Gato Was" and the game "How do you plant flowers?", Song and traditional game, a true reflection of traditional cultural heritage Spanish child.
The materials provided, "drawings, books with bilingual text, temporal sequences, flash cards, were crafted and manufactured in our classrooms in the past, since the beginning of the course.
It also gave the center a lot of children's books, in Spanish, for its library and a gift with taste typical Murcia.
The staging of the song and the game in the classroom Vienna, was accompanied by a strong involvement of Austrian students and teachers, who even added new words and verses to the material submitted.
In short, it became clear that the teaching language is international and that infantile folklore has no frontiers.
During that meeting, the Josefstadt district mayor, Herr Heribert Rahdjian, greeted us kindly, and echoing the metopa and our mayor letter sent in March, gave us a shield and a letter calling for the opportunity to strengthen inter ties-European countries through education and childhood, values fully consistent with the objectives of the Comenius project, which involved the San Antonio public school since 2001.
