Intergenerational Painting Week opened today in Molina, aims to promote dialogue between adults and school (21/10/2010)

The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, opened today in Molina de Segura acts Painting Intergenerational Week, organized by the Senior Community Center in this town.

The exhibition comprises some 50 works by painters of the centers of Murcia Institute for Social Action (IMAS).

With this pictorial exhibition aims to bring the smallest to the largest, and show that aging can be positive, contrary to the belief that they are taxpayers.

Today attended by 25 students from Primary 6 A, the College entered into 'The Workshop', de Molina, and on, until day 28, as will other groups of students from the same center.

All will be invited to paint on the topics covered.

Also among the works presented, three for each of the 18 social centers of IMAS, the three paintings were selected winners based on which the Sociocultural Poster Contest XVI.

All works are the result of painting workshops taking place in schools.

The opening ceremony was also attended by the managing director of IMAS, Isabel Sola, and the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, along with directors of the IMAS and the painters participating in the show.
