The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, and the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, inaugurated today in Molina de Segura (at 20:30 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina, Avenida El Chorrico, 10) the Two Room Villa de Molina Theatre.
The new room opens with the show 'The Wonderful World of Animals: The Lambs' Andalusian Histrión Company Theatre, which begins on XLI Theatre Festival.
The Chamber Two, although it has been used for other events, is now equipped with adequate infrastructure and proper to carry out representations of small and medium format, many of them presented in a way unusual in conventional spaces.
The launch of the new space represents an investment 96,882 euros, of which the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has provided 85,419 and the rest the city of Molina de Segura.
The reform has involved the acquisition of infrastructure and equipment for adaptation and improvement of the living room, which will accommodate the proposed alternative theater and dance and music.
The Chamber Two have a capacity varying between 200 and 250 spectators, depending on the needs of performing arts space.
The XLI Theater Festival will run for nine days with a total of 21 performances, including 17 street and four-room, and ends on Saturday 9 October
