The closing ceremony of the 2010 Multisport School City of Molina de Segura has taken place on Friday July 30 in Sports The Romeral.
The event was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Sports, Jesus Maeso Monge.
MultiSport School takes place during the month of July and first fortnight of August in the Sports Pavilion The Romeral and Sawmills, organized by the Department of Sports and aimed at children aged between 5 and 16 years.
This city program aims to facilitate, in a fun and entertaining, a first encounter with different sports: tennis, athletics, badminton, martial arts, rhythm, basketball, climbing, creativity, paddle tennis, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis table, traditional sports, swimming and sporting events.
Throughout this first month of July as complementary activities, nearly 700 participants could also enjoy the traditional contests bags, bowls, bandana, sogatira, marbles, among others, and fun gymkhanas.
They have also tested other skills in painting competitions and literary creation and have had the opportunity to engage in fruitful meetings with a number of large plastic and literary artists of our city: Jerome Tristant, Juan Espallardo, and Angel Palax.
To complete their training, have received valuable advice on Healthy Living by the sports medicine specialist Armando Ortiz Ortiz and have seen interesting exhibitions by renowned local sports clubs such as molinense Rhythmic Gymnastics Association, Club and School EIGER Palax Angel Kick Boxing.
Finally, have participated in Race Solidarity, earmarking their contributions to various associations for the disabled.
