The municipality of Molina de Segura registered last March the record number of 25,704 Social Security affiliates, according to the data offered by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
The number of workers in Molina de Segura has experienced an increase of around 12% in the last 2 years, as indicated by the Councilor for the Economy of the Molinense City Council, José de Haro González.
In March 2016, the number of Social Security affiliates was 22,936 people.
The affiliate data is complemented by the good result of unemployment, which has fallen steadily, to the rate of 16.06%, lower than the regional average, decreasing by 318 people last year.
