The Local Government Board of the City of Molina de Segura approved, at the meeting held last March 6, adherence to the collaboration agreement signed between the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Ministry of Family and Equality of Oportunidades, and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, for the performance of benefits for the benefit of the community, as reported by the Spokesman of the Local Government Board and Councilor for Human Resources, Ángel Navarro García.
The agreement aims to articulate the collaboration between the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM) so that it carries out with the municipalities the work of dissemination, contact and collection of offers of the entities local, in order to effectively comply with the judicial measures of Benefit Benefit of the Community in its area of ​​competence.
The FMRM commits itself to promote the adhesion of its associates, in accordance with a Protocol of Accession, such as the one that the Molina de Segura Town Council has now signed, in order that the minors can perform benefits for the benefit of the community, In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 5/2000, which regulates the criminal responsibility of minors.
For its part, the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities is committed to:
- Provide coverage to the contingencies that correspond to the National Institute of Social Security due to work accidents and illnesses of young people over sixteen years of age.
- Provide coverage for accidents that may occur in the performance of the benefit of children under that age and over fourteen years, by signing an accident insurance policy.
- Provide coverage for possible civil liability for damages, by signing the corresponding policy.
The Department of Human Resources will appoint a coordinator to supervise the execution of benefits in the municipality.
The agreement will allow the minors subject to the performance of these benefits to carry them out in their own municipality.
