The Local Safety Board of Molina de Segura held a meeting today, Monday, March 26, at the City Council of the town, co-chaired by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the General Secretary of the Delegation of the Government in the Community Autonomous Region of Murcia, María José Navarro Abellán.

The First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Safety, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, the General Director of Citizen Security and Emergencies of the Region of Murcia, José Ramón Carrasco de la Sierra, the Chief Inspector of the Local Police, José Pérez Almagro, also attended. , the Chief Inspector of the Police Station of the National Police in Molina de Segura, Pedro Arbizu Bonel, the Commander of the Civil Guard Post in Molina de Segura, Enrique Ignacio Olmos Sola, the General Secretary of the City Council, María Dolores Martín-Gil García , the Spokesperson of the Municipal Group of the Popular Party, Sonia Carrillo Mármol, the Spokesperson of the Municipal Group Win Molina, Antonio López Vidal, the Councilor not attached Trinidad Romero Sánchez, the Councilor not assigned Alberto Aguilar Zarco, the Councilor not attached Concepción Orenes Hernández, and a representative of the Federation of Inter-Neighborhood Neighborhood Associations.

At the meeting, an analysis was made of the current situation of crime in the municipality and of citizen security in the urbanizations and districts.

As reported by the General Secretary of the Government Delegation, the data provided by the National Police indicate that during the last year the downward trend of criminal offenses in Molina de Segura continues.

These figures, together with an increase in police efficiency, are the result of collaboration and coordination between the National Police and the Local Police of Molina de Segura.

For its part, the Councilor for Public Safety has indicated that a joint operation is still underway to prevent robberies and thefts in the areas of the Molina de Segura camp.
