The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura has organized the Free Guided Tour Molina de Segura in English, which was held yesterday Thursday March 22, at 11.00, leaving from the Plaza de España.
The students of the first year of ESO of the IES Vega del Táder have participated in the activity, which has covered the most important tourist resources of the municipality, accompanied by an official guide of tourism, qualified in English.
The visit has started from the Plaza de España, and has begun on the ferris wheel located in the Parque de la Compañía.
Next, they have visited the Plaza de la Molinera and the Plaza del MUDEM.
These squares house two important chimneys, a reminder of the molinense canning industry.
The visit has continued inside the MUDEM.
Next, the Los Postigos Center has been visited, inside which there is a section of the medieval city wall and the Tourism Office.
The visit has concluded in La Maita, where students have been able to admire the remains of the Alcazaba that are on top of the Barrio del Castillo.
