The Hospital de Molina and Grupo Casaverde have inaugurated in the facilities of the hospital center (in front of the main door of the Molina Hospital), the Casaverde Hospital Clinic in Molina, specialized in functional, neurological and physical rehabilitation.
The inauguration ceremony took place today, Friday, March 9, and was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Public Health, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez, the Manager of the Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, the President of the Casaverde Group, Alberto Giménez Artes, and the Director of the Casaverde Hospital Clinic of Molina, Vanessa Carrión Téllez.
In this way, the Hospital de Molina expands its Neurorehabilitation Service, which it has already been providing, with treatments aimed at functional and physical rehabilitation.
It is a multidisciplinary Service (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Neuropsychology and Speech Therapy), which aims to offer excellent assistance to patients, both adults and children, who have pathologies related to:
Brain damage, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury.
Spinal cord injury, such as spinal cord infarcts or spina bifida.
Neurodegenerative diseases, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's.
Others, such as peripheral nerve injuries or muscular dystrophies.
And, more specifically, in the area of ​​child rehabilitation:
Developmental disorders.
Spinal cord injury.
Acquired brain damage caused by accidents.
Others, such as muscular dystrophies, etc.
The Managing Director of Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, highlights "the collaboration established between our hospital center and an expert company in Brain Damage and Neurological Rehabilitation, such as Grupo Casaverde, with which we re-started our activity in this Service, which will help to recover the functionality of patients affected by stroke, neuromuscular disorders and people with functional diversity.We continue, therefore, working to improve the health of the citizens of any point in the Region of Murcia ".
