The Council of Markets of the City council of Molina de Segura has elaborated the bases of the call for the adjudication of positions of sale sedentary vacant in municipal markets, that were approved in the last meeting of the Meeting of Local Government, the past Tuesday 6 of March, as reported by the Councilor for Markets, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez.
Until now, the awarding of vacancies in the market has been carried out according to the order of request made by the merchants, under the criteria of the market inspector and the competent Council.
In May 2017, a new ordinance on street vending was approved, which sought to adapt the previous rule with the Law 3/2014, of July 2, of Mobile Sales or Non-Sedentary of the Region of Murcia.
Based on this, a new process of vacancy adjudication has been regulated, which is carried out under public attendance, thus guaranteeing equal access for all those interested in carrying out the activity of street vending in the municipality. of Molina de Segura.
Once all the applications have been received, with the documentation required in the call, there will be an assessment of the merits and the preparation of a list based on the scores obtained.
With this, interested parties will apply for vacant positions according to the established order.
The process aims to create a waiting list for future vacancies.
Once the stock market is exhausted, it will proceed to hold a new process of public concurrence for the awarding of the vacancies that are produced.
