The Foundation Association of the Press of the Region of Murcia and the Hospital de Molina have signed on Tuesday a collaboration agreement through which he acquires the status of Partner
Protector of the Foundation.
This figure aims to provide greater visibility and recognition to institutions and companies that are distinguished by a special collaboration with the actions promoted by the Press Association Foundation.
In addition, the figure of Socio Protector becomes, therefore, in the closest relationship with the professional group of journalists in the Region of Murcia and an effective means of materializing Corporate Social Responsibility policies, supported by a large institution. prestige and regional roots, forged throughout a secular history.
Through this agreement, both institutions commit themselves to carry out an ample program of activities among which is the realization of publications;
cultural research, promotion and dissemination;
the organization of seminars, courses and seminars;
the collaboration with the Journalists Association for the recycling and professional specialization of the group it represents;
and the call of the 'Laureles de Murcia', prizes of great trajectory and prestige destined to stand out to the people, companies and institutions more relevant of the Region of Murcia.

The Hospital de Molina develops a policy of Corporate Social Responsibility, focused on the four strategic areas of the Good Governance, Economic, Environmental and Social organization, and reports through its Annual Report on CSR information related to the integral management of the organization, determined by its own SMEX Management System (Molina System of Excellence) and its Mission-Vision-Values, where the search for excellence stands out;
the promotion and dissemination of health;
effective equality, labor integration and care for people with disabilities;
and respect for the environment.
For its part, Fundación Asociación de la Prensa, linked to the Official Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, collects a historical and cultural legacy of more than 110 years.
In its headquarters all types of publications and works of art of incalculable value for the society of the Region of Murcia are conserved and its commitment continues to be to revalue this legacy even more making it visible to the maximum number of possible people.
Specifically, this year the Foundation has published two fundamental books for regional journalism: on the one hand "Ricardo Serna Alba and El Liberal, Exile in Oran", which is part of the collection Biographies;
and, on the other, "The bulls in the work of José Rodríguez Cánovas: between journalism and literature", belonging to the Estudios y Ensayos collection.
Both books rescue the life and work of two figures of journalism in the Region of Murcia that the Foundation has decided to rescue from oblivion.
