Alfonso Martínez Baños affirms that the councilor and spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Molina de Segura acted with the utmost honesty and transparency by removing from his responsibilities an official before the possibility that he could be benefiting a family business by irregularly hiring almost 200,000 euros
The Secretary of Municipal Policy of the PSRM-PSOE and regional deputy, Alfonso Martinez Baños, recalled that the spokesman of the Socialist Government in Molina de Segura, Angel Navarro, has been denounced for acting in a possible case of corruption and defending the Molinenses.
"Meanwhile, the PP, far from supporting those who fight against corruption and defend citizens, ask for their resignation, that each one draw their conclusions," he said.
According to Martínez, what affects the socialist councilor is not a case of corruption, but an administrative investigation that the official has processed as a complaint.
"The alleged case of corruption is what puts this official on the table due to the irregular hiring of almost 200,000 euros to a family business," he said.
"It is surprising that the PP calls for the resignation of a councilman to prosecute possible cases of corruption and defend the interests of the Molinenses." According to Martinez Baños, the only stick that the PSOE has is to stir up corruption.
