The Intercultural Meeting City of Molina takes place in the municipality from November 13 to 18, promoted by the Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Platform for Immigration and the Molina Athenaeum.

Since the beginning of History, the peoples that inhabit the planet have been cultivating thought, the arts, the spirit;

We have been forging the customs and the collective imaginaries.

With them we have built the cultures of each place;

and they all form the Human Culture.

The vast wealth of this culture is the heritage of all humanity.

Molina de Segura has been and is a town that welcomes people from different parts of the Region of Murcia and other parts of Spain and the world.

People who have moved here looking for a place to work and carry out a life project.

At present, 13% of the people registered in Molina de Segura are immigrants, of whom 40% come from the European Union and 60% are non-EU.

This variety of origins brings an enormous cultural richness to the municipality.

This meeting aims to publicize some manifestations of these cultures through poetry, theater, folk tales, thought, music, dance, painting and sports.

Make them visible to promote the approach and trust between the different human groups that live in Molina de Segura, so that respect and trust between the different people are definitely incorporated into the common heritage of the people of Molin.
