The Wood Wind Department of the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez de Molina de Segura organizes a course on manufacturing, repair and maintenance of the clarinet, by the teacher of the CGTAD Band of Valencia José Vicente Collado Juan, on Friday 10 and Saturday November 11, at the headquarters of the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López (on Calle Capitán Cortés, s / n).
The course is aimed at students of the clarinet specialty.
José Vicente Collado Juan was born in Alborache (Valencia), where he began his musical studies in the Music Group of the same town.
He studied at the Superior Conservatory of Valencia, later moving to the Superior Conservatory of Madrid, where he finished the Superior Degree in Clarinet, with an outstanding grade.
In 1985 he obtains by opposition the position of subofficial of the Navy with the number 1 in his specialty.
He is a founding member of the quartet of clarinets Mare Nostrum de Ferrol, with which he participated in the music cycles of La Caixa de Galicia and the Xunta de Galicia.
He attends different musical courses related to the clarinet, with Francisco Fort Fenollosa, J. Vicente Herrera, Vicente Peñarrocha, José Cervera Collado and Manuel Martí. He has collaborated in various musical groups of the Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community.
He has taken specialized courses in maintenance and repair of wind-wood instruments.
Member of the Orchestra of Friends of the Zarzuela de Cartagena, currently belongs to the CGTAD band of Valencia.
