The Hospital de Molina is one of the five finalists of the XII Edition of the Best In Class Awards (BIC), in the Traumatology, Emergency and Corporate Social Responsibility Services, promoted by "Gaceta Médica" (editorial content and health information) and the Chair of Innovation and Health Management of the Rey Juan Carlos University, with the support of SEDISA (Spanish Society of Health Directors) and the Ad Qualitatem Foundation.
The purpose of these Awards is to publicly and annually recognize the best Primary Care Center, the best Hospital and the best Services or Units in the national territory, both public and private, who seek excellence in the care they provide to their patients.
In the words of the Managing Director of Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, "it is a great pride for us to have two Hospital Services, such as Traumatology and Urgencies, so highly valued in the field of quality of care and patient care. , it is a further incentive to continue to offer the best of both of them, as well as the recognition of our Corporate Social Responsibility Area (CSR): to be a finalist for the BIC 2017 Awards, confirms our involvement with responsible triple performance management economic, environmental and social and returns us to be one of the companies in the Region of Murcia that works harder for CSR.
Hospital de Molina was also ranked among the five best Hospitals in Spain in CSR (2016, 2015 and 2013), Traumatology and Emergency (2016), Internal Medicine (2014 and 2013) and Clinical Safety (2012).
In this edition, the participation in the Best In Class Awards has surpassed the 800 nominations presented, which gives an account of the impact of these Awards in our country.
The awarding of these awards - to be held next October 24 in Seville -, is based on the score obtained by the candidates with the Patient Quality Assurance Index (ICAP), prepared especially for these Awards, and established to from the multivariate analysis of data provided by hospitals and primary care centers.
The winners and finalists in the different categories are part of the "Guide to the Best Hospitals and Health Services" that is published annually.
