The exhibition will be inaugurated on Tuesday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m.
The exhibition MIRADA SIBIA, of the Collective of Older People of different centers of Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, opens to the public on Tuesday, September 12.
The opening ceremony will take place at 19.00 hours, in the Exhibition Hall Los Postigos (Calle Pensionista, n ° 3).
The exhibition will be open to the public until October 1, and may be visited: mornings, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
and afternoons, from Tuesday to Friday, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Los Postigos will host this exhibition with the works that have been carried out by some of the majors of the municipality: students of the painting and drawing workshops of the Association of Elders of El Llano de Molina, Greater Association of the Barrio del Carmen, Association of Elders Sacred Heart (in Las Balsas) and the Seniors group of the Socio-Cultural Association of La Alcayna.
The painting workshop is one more of the options that the Department of Social Welfare, through its community work, offers to the elderly group in the program of Dynamization of the Elderly Centers of the municipality.
"Painting, better or worse, is something that we all know how to do and we have done in our lives." In the elderly, it is of special importance because it helps to develop and maintain many capacities. which is beneficial for health and well-being in general, "explains the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes.
In this sample, older people share with the public what they have learned in different techniques in which they have been introduced since the beginning of the workshops, so that visitors can enjoy their work.
