The Molina de Segura Patronage Festival program for Wednesday, September 6 is marked by gastronomy, with a workshop for adults in memory of Miguel Herández and Gloria Fuertes, the inauguration of a photographic exhibition of regional costumes at MUDEM and one exhibition of rhythmic gymnastics in the Plaza of Spain.
The "La Chimenea" Restaurant (Plaza de la Cerámica n ° 2) will host, from 6.30 pm, under the direction of its prestigious cook Eulogio Campillo, a gastronomic and literary workshop that pays homage to Miguel Hernández, at the end of this year 75th anniversary of his death, and to Gloria Fuerte celebrating in 2017 the centenary of his birth.
This workshop is held in the framework of the Molina de Segura International Theater Festival.
Eulogio Campillo, with the collaboration of Esfera Teatro, will give a few "delicious" cooking classes with recipes inspired by texts and poems by Miguel Hernández and Gloria Fuertes, which participants will be able to taste after their elaboration.
This activity, whose price has been set at 10 euros, requires the participation of a minimum of 8 adults and a maximum of 25 per session.
The festive activities of this Wednesday will continue at 19.30 in the Plaza de España, with an exhibition of rhythmic gymnastics, by the Molinense Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
At 2030 hours the new presbyter of the Church of the Assumption, Damián López González, will officiate in the Molinese temple a Solemn Mass.
The program of the Festivities on Wednesday will be closed with the inauguration, in the Exhibition Hall of MUDEM, of a photographic exhibition in which the visitor is offered a trip through the different Spanish regions through the traditional costumes of the folklore of each community.
This exhibition, which will remain open until September 20, is organized by the Group of Choirs and Dances of Molina de Segura "Regional Association Francisco Salzillo", with the collaboration of FACYDE.
The Barrio de San Roque, on the other hand, begins on Wednesday its traditional fiestas, which will last until September 10.
At 20.00 hours a neighborhood act is planned to celebrate the end of the works on Calle Oriente.
The event will be closed with the performance of "Molina Brass".
