The PATRONAL FESTS OF MOLINA DE SEGURA 2017 will start on Saturday 2nd of September, with the traditional Pilgrimage of Ascent of the Patroness of the city, the Virgin of Consolation, from her Hermitage to the Church of the Assumption.
On Friday, July 28th, at La Chimenea Restaurant, the official presentation of the poster and the festive program took place, attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and Local Party Councilor Andrés Martínez Cervantes.
The fiestas will last until Monday, September 18, a festive day in the town, with the return of the Patroness of Molina de Segura to her Ermita.
Throughout all these days, visitors and Molinians can enjoy a varied and complete program of festive and sporting events, which are characterized by their plurality.
One more year, music will be one of the main attractions of the Molinean fiestas.
The main concert venue will be located in the Plaza de España, although other places and public spaces of the municipality will host the musical performances, such as the Municipal Auditorium, and the European squares, Murcian Region, El Romeral Sports Center, etc.
Perform artists such as MALDITA NEREA, ARA MALIKIAN, AMARAL, FORMULA V, BARÓN ROJO and CAFÉ QUIJANO, as well as local groups, musicals and tributes to large groups and artists.
And El Romeral Sports Center hosts the tenth edition of the Molina de Segura B SIDE Festival, which will be held on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September, with the performance of LOS PLANETAS, SIDONIE, MONARCHY, NEUMAN, ALIEN TANGO, CALA VENTO, DAKOKÁN , KUKI CRISTINA and DON FLUOR, among others.
The Department of Local Festivals will distribute some 21,000 copies of the hand program, which will be available at the end of August.
The Pregón de Fiestas will take place on Friday, September 8, at the Teatro Villa de Molina, by Molina Emilia Fernández González, retired teacher.
