The presentation of the new Line 3 of urban bus Molina de Segura-Altorreal took place today Wednesday June 21, at the bus stop located next to the door of the Pharmacy of the Altorreal urbanization, with walk included throughout the Route of the line.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Mobility Councilor, Antonio López Vidal, and the manager of the company awarded the service, Autocares de Molina, José Pérez Martínez attended the event.
The Department of Mobility of the City of Molina de Segura launches this new bus service, which connects the town with the Altorreal urbanization from Thursday 22 June.
In this way, the service is restored after the suppression carried out five years ago by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
Councilor for Mobility, Antonio López Vidal, said that "this project was the main objective of this government team, which will continue to work in the coming months to improve transportation in the rest of the urbanizations and districts of the municipality."
The new Line 3 Molina-Altorreal will provide its service from Monday to Saturday, with 5 round trips, from 07.10 to 20.00 (on Saturdays will perform an additional service with departure from Molina at 23.30 hours, and return from Altorreal At 00.00 hours, which will also be totally free for travelers).
The cost of the general ticket is € 1, users can use the Bono Bus that the Department of Mobility issues with a discount of 100% for pensioners, disabled, unemployed, and 50% for students.
The users will have the free transfer with Line 1 and 2 of the urban transport.
This service, approved by the Local Government Board on June 13, will cost the City Council some 5,700 euros per month, following the modification of the terms of the contract with Autocares de Molina, a family business that has been providing urban transport services since 2002 .
Once the service starts, on June 22, the service will be free for 1 week, so that users can know the new bus line.
