The City Council of Molina de Segura has completed the installation of 69 new points of light, in the hamlet of La Ribera, through two different projects, chosen within the process of Participatory Budgets 2016, with a total investment amounting to 64,305 , 39 euros.

The two public lighting projects are as follows:

Project of Works Public Lighting Service in Zone 5 of the Municipal Term of Molina de Segura.

Project Works Public Lighting Service in Zone 4 (Subzona Huerta) of the Municipal Term of Molina de Segura.

Both projects incorporate special social enforcement conditions, related to the socio-labor insertion of people in long-term unemployment, which has allowed the hiring of unemployed of the municipality, during the period of execution of the works.

The projects consisted of the installation of a total of 69 new 38W LED luminaires, which are very low consumption luminaires with high luminous efficiency and an own regulation system, which allows to reduce even more consumption at scheduled time at dawn.

The luminaires on stilts have been placed on the so-called Cementerio de La Ribera de Molina, a route widely used by neighbors and neighbors of La Ribera de Molina in the urban area of ​​Las Señoritas.
